Definition
Identifies a well bore as an entity and master record in PRA (a well bore is a hole drilled into the ground for the purpose of finding and/or producing crude oil or natural gas, or for providing services related to the production of crude oil or natural gas).
A well consists of one or more well completion.
Use
The well ID establishes a record in the system for the hole drilled in the ground, which is drilled for the purpose of:
