Definition
The country in which the business associate is resident for the ownership relationship. Resident country information is used for non-resident tax calculations.
For example, if company A is headquartered in Canada, but one of its entities is to be created within ownership as a business associate, and the business (ownership) transaction is going to be in Texas, you would enter US here for the country of residence for the BA, and not Canada.
A single company with whom you are doing business can have multiple business associates, and they could be in various countries.
