Definition
Set this flag to let the system know that for this owner, you would like to activate corrections. That means that, in specific RD (Revenue Distribution) situations, prior period processing can be nullified, and chain of title will not be followed.
During RD Allocations - specifically, in the reversal process, which processes the reversal notifications generated from the Valuation application component of PRA, a determination is made about wheather or not chain of title must be followed for the journal entry to be reversed.
One of the factors that is considered during this determination is the impact of owner transfers. Transfers that occured since the journal entry was created and had the correction flag de-seleted (blank) results in the chain of title being followed, and JE is processed according to the chain of title. If the correction flag is set, chain of title is not followed. In that case, the original journal entry will simply be reversed and posted.
