Definition
Determines in what sequence the recurring segments are to be sorted.
Use
The sort sequence is determined per segment field. You can define up to five sort fields.
The field with sort 1 has the highest priority for sorting. Sorting is always done in ascending order.
Note: As you can sort by fields within which character and numeric fields are mixed, the sorting can have a different result on an ASCII-coded than that for an EBCDIC-coded system.
