Definition

Contains the name of the function responsible for settling payment card transactions.

The system uses programs RFCCSSTT (Payment Cards: Execute Settlement) and RFCCRSTT (Payment Cards: Repeat Settlement) to convert internal settlement data into the SAP standard format. This format consists of a header line, CCSETH, and data in internal table CCSET. The system transfers the data to the function specified in this field.

The settlement function:

1. Converts internal settlement data into data structures defined by the clearing house
2. Transmits that data to the clearing house
3. Receives settlement data back from the clearing house
4. Converts that external data into the SAP standard format

Open items are posted against the cash clearing account and cleared.

The standard system is delivered with function CCARD_SETTLEMENT_SIMULATION.
