Definition

When this field is filled with an indicator, 'X', this means that the settlement document it pertains to is a collective header document.

The collective header document can either be a settlement or transmission of one or more transmissions or settlements, and can only occur when one or more partially processed documents are further processed.

For example, ten documents which represent transmissions that took place over a period of time are later collectively settled in one settlement. This subsequent settlement document created would therefore be a header document, and the ten transmissions would become child documents of the header, creating a collecively related group of documents.
