Definition
Indicator that identifies the area in which the location is located.
Use
This indicator is used in combination with the location region indicator and the location sub-area indicator to assign locations to a three-level area grid. This can later be used for reporting purposes.
Examples
Region indicator: NDE (North Germany)
Area indicator: TOWN
Sub-area indicator: CEN (Center)
