Definition
Use
Table OIRA_LOCK_TRANS contains the entries to be passed to the document base table (DBT) read function OIRA_READ_DBT. Within this function, this table is passed to the document base table locking function OIRA_DBT_LOCK.
This function checks the contents of the virtual DBT locking table against those in OIRA_LOCK_TRANS. If there is a matching entry, the status of this transaction is marked as already locked. If no matching entry is found, the status is set to locked.
This functionality allows a large number of locks on the document base table without having to set any physical locks.
