Documentation
Definition
Defines when a document base table entry can be deleted.
Use
A document base table entry should not be deleted until it has been used by all the subsequent processes that require it. If you link subsequent processes to a completion strategy in Customizing, the system creates a document base table indicator for each subsequent process. When the document base table is filled, the completion strategy within each entry determines which indicator fields are filled. Once an entry has been used by a subsequent process, the indicator field entry is removed.
A report that checks the status of the indicator fields is run periodically. If all indicator fields are empty, the record has been fully processed and is deleted.
