Definition

Defines a constant value for aggregation during document creation.

Use

If you define a constant for the aggregation procedure used within the document creation tool, the destination structure and field linked to the constant always take this value. This avoids the requirement to specify a fill routine or perform a database lookup.

Examples

During the creation of a fee document for credit card settlement, it is always a requirement to fill the material field in the communication structure.However, the material should be the same for every line item and every document. In this case you would specify the material name as the constant.
