Definition

The supplying / receiving plant is the 'other' plant in SAP documents that reference two plants.

The purpose of the plant can be either supply or receipt depending on the SAP document. For example in a transport order this field represents the plant from which materials are supplied but for a replenishment goods issue it represents the plant at which materials are received.
