Definition
OLM material tracking includes functionality for requirements analysis.
To activate this functionality a single tracking group is activated for requirements analysis. The requirements analysis routine then matches demand date against supply date for certain objects in the tracking hierachy and assigns a tracking status depending on the difference between the dates.
The object types used to determine demand dates are defined using an object type group named 'demand group'.
The object types for which the analysis is performed are defined using an object type group named 'supply group'.
Up to three statuses may be defined based on two thresholds, for example
Threshold Status
-10 RQ00 Delivery in time >= 10 days in advance
-3 RQ10 Critical delivery < 10 days and >= 3 days in advance
RQ20 Late delivery < 3 days in advance
