Definition
This is a running number used as an index into the table where it occurs.
Use
When in the worklist X-ref tables,it is always a part of the key to the table. When the remaining key is same for a set of records and only the WLINDEX is different , it implies that there is more than one reason code for which a Worklist entry exists corresponding to the remaining part of the key.

Consider the following entries in table OIJNOMHWL:
