Definition
Together with the reference document indicator this Shipment item type is determining the movement scenario of a nomination item.
The Shipment item type is customisable; use transaction O5TSITYP to maintain the Shipment item types.
Use
The following values are provided by SAP:
- O Origin
A location on a Transport system is used as a supply point to the Transport system. Therefore, an O nomination line item supplies product to the Transport system that is defined in the nomination header.
- D Destination
A location on a Transport system is used as a receiving point of the Transport system. Therefore, a D nomination line item receives product from the Transport system that is defined in the nomination header.
- OT Origin Throughput
A location on a Transport system is used as a supply point to the Transport system. The moved material belongs to another party.
- DT Destination Throughput
A location on a Transport system is used as a receipt (demand) point from the Transport system. The moved material belongs to another party.
- OL At origin location
A movement is done from a vendor to an origin location.
- DL At destination location
A movement is done from a destination location to a customer.
- IT In-tank transfer
The nomination item represents a transfer in the location.
