Definition
A classification that distinguishes between different types of bulk shipment.
Use
The bulk shipment type that you enter determines the processing of the shipment through scheduling, loading and delivery confirmation.
Example
Through the bulk shipment type, it is possible to determine the means oftransport : road, sea, air, etc. for the shipment. Additionally it is possible to define the shipment unit of measure (UoM). All shipment quantities are converted to the shipment UoM, which is the UoM used to show planning quantities during scheduling.
