Definition

Identifies the planning calendar used for calculating the planning proposal.

The planning calendar determines the dates on which planning proposals will be generated by the TSW.

Examples

Pipeline planning is dependent on pipeline cycles. Schedules of pipeline cycles are published by the operator, and these can be used in the planning calendar to predict when movements can be expected.

Marine planning is usually carried out without the use of such a calendar, as vessels are arranged to meet the requirements based upon the inventory position.

CALENDER MAINTENANCE

You define the planning calendar via customizing: Industry Solution Oil&Gas (Downstream) -> TSW -> Replenishment planning -> Define planning calendar.
