New:             The first communication entry for the nomination item with the partner.

Change request:     The nomination item was changed.

Confirmed:        The nomination item was confirmed.

Rejected:        The nomination item was confirmed / rejected.

The nomination communication type (send/receive) describes who initiated the action:

Received:     The communication partner sent the communication record along with this status.

Sent:        The current nomination was changed and the information was sent to the partner.
