Definition
The location type is a four-character alphanumeric ID that the system uses to represent the basic operational purpose of a location.
Examples
Examples of location type are terminal, tank farm, and refinery. The system uses the location type to determine which calculations to perform and which columns to display in Stock Projection Worksheets based on locations.
Annotations
The location type determines, if the system handles a location as a Planning Location, an Origin Location, a Destination Location, an Origin and Destination Location, or a production source.
