Definition
The code used to signal the reason for the general expiry date and time defined for the storage object. Reason codes and their associated texts are defined in customizing.
Procedure
Enter a reason code using the F4 value request key.
Examples
All deliveries to a particular customer tank must be blocked if the fire safety license is expired. By setting a general expiry date and time to coincide with the expiry of the fire safety license, the delivery processing could identify a delivery target date and time which is after the fire safety license expiry. The reason code could be used in an associated error message.
Dependencies
The possibility of defining an general expiry reason code may be dependent on the access mode by which the storage object characteristic document is accessed.
