The test temperature at which combustion of natural gas takes place. The combustion process is necessary to determine the heating value of the natural gas at well-defined base conditions. Often, the metering of the volume takes place at different base conditions (temperature, pressure) than those for the combustion. The system converts the heating value at test conditions to a heating value at defined base or standard reference conditions that are defined in the conversion group. The system uses standard ISO conversion formulas or customer-specific routines.
