Definition

If you set this indicator, the conversion group can be selected by external applications which may utilize the RFC enabled function module OIB_QCI_GET_CONVGRP_AND_PARAM. Then, external applications may utilize the conversion group information in order to perform an RFC call of function module OIB_QCI_CONVERSION_SIMPLE.

This function module may then execute routines which are NOT delivered by SAP, but are part of license agreements of other software providers, e.g. the American Petroleum Institute (API) or the American Gas Association (AGA). SAP does not release any conversion groups for external applications that utilize such non-SAP software when performing quantity conversions.
