Reading group parameters can have a constant value assigned, which is either proposed as a default value during the creation of a default record, or used as a constant without being changeable by the person entering the defaults. This indicator specifies whether or not changing the value entered in the reading group for this parameter is allowed during default creation.
Example: The QCI (Quantity Conversion Interface) requires for natural gas conversions that the heating value combustion test temperature is entered. This temperature may be always constant at 15°C, thus it is set in the reading group for the combustion temperature parameter as 15 CEL and the copy flag specifies that it is required to copy the reading group constant as a default value and you cannot overwrite the value.
