Set this indicator to activate additional conversion routines. The routines convert the base density or the base heating value that was calculated by the system to create a new base density or heating value. The new base density and the new base heating value are converted to a set of new base conditions. The new base conditions are determined by the temperature and pressure values defined in the base heating value and base density unit of measure. Those units of measure are defined in the conversion group.
Background information:
The additional conversion will only be carried out, if the unit of measure maintained in the conversion group for the base density or base heating value is itself maintained in customizing with additional parameters (Industry Solution Oil & Gas (Downstream) -> HPM -> Oil- and Gas-Specific Units of Measure and Additional Stockkeeping Units -> Check units of measurement). This indicator can be set in order to separate the base conditions at which external conversion routines operate from the base conditions at which the calculated parameters are stored in the system. The system will then produce a warning message to inform you that the base density or base heating value is being converted. For densities, a test density unit has to be entered for this function in order to carry out the additional conversion.
