Definition

The quantity schedule is split into various schedule lines according to the scheduling indicator, which determines whether the schedule is weekly, monthly or based on another unit of time.

The split indicator in this field indicates whether the individual quantities are assigned to equal periods or based on workdays.

Example

The quantity assignment can be calculated by period:

Scheduling indicator: monthly

Split indicator: per period

Quantity: 12,000 for one year

So the quantity would be: 1,000 per period

Assigning the quantity by workdays:

Scheduling indicator: monthly

Quantity 12,000 per year

January: 1,010

February: 986

March: 1,010

April: 1,002

This is dependent on how many workdays there are per month.

No split, assignment of the given qty. equally to periods:

Scheduling indicator: monthly

Split indicator: no split

Quantity: 12,000 for one year

So the quantity would be: 12,000 per period

Dependencies

The factory calendar is used as a reference. This is defaulted by the plant used.

Use

At exchange type level: this is the default for assigned exchange agreements and can be overwritten in exchange agreement maintenance.

In the exchange agreement header: this is the default for the quantity schedule header data of assigned document(s) and can be overwritten in the quantity schedule header.
