Definition

This indicator controls how an application represents list output. However, the application determines whether or not output supports all possible variants or not. In addition, the application controls whether the setting is determined:

  • Manually on the selection screen, or
  • SPA/GPA memory ID/user parameter (ID Name = Report name plus underscore, plus data element name OI0_ALV; for the current program, that would be, for example, YDOK_OI0_ALV), or
  • In Customizing

The sequence is, when there is one, as presented above, in other words, manual entry overwrites user settings, user settings overwrite any existing customizing settings (here, additional documentation would be good/available).

Depending on what application is involved, there may or may not be additional application-specific documentation added to this documentation ("data element supplement"). The user values can be individually maintained under menu path: System -> User profile -> Own data -> Parameters.
