Documentation
Definition
You use this indicator to define which period is to be used when determining entitlements to continued pay. Consequently, the analysis period corresponds to the time frame that provides the basis for generating the personal calendar.
The analysis period that you select also influences the access date for the 'Time-Dependent Entitlement Quotas' (V_T5A4D) view.
(a) For calendar year calculations, the access date for the view 'V_T5A4D' is the start date of the absence.
(b) For employment year calculations, the access date for the view 'V_T5A4D' is the start date of the absence moved forward to a period that the (individual) employment year starts later than the calendar year.
(c) For calendar half-year calculations, the access date for the view 'V_T5A4D' is the start date of the absence moved forward to a period that the calendar half-year starts late than the calendar year.
(d) For analysis periods of varying duration (for example, first illness), the indicator for employment year jumps determines whether an employment year or calendar year rule is to be applied.
The following applies:
- J: Current calendar year
- K: Current calendar year - If, in the entry calendar year, the work relationship lasts for less than six months, the entitlement to continued pay is granted for only half the duration of payments.
- D: Start of employment year
- E: Start of first illness - A check is performed to determine whether the current absence concerns a recent first illness. Each linked absence is checked separately.
- O: Start of first illness - A check is not performed to determine whether the current absence concerns a recent first illness.
- A: Start of absence record
- H: Calendar half-year
- S: Calendar half-year - Absences that last longer than a calendar half-year must undergo a special evaluation. However, the new quota is granted at the start of a new calendar half-year.
- L: Calendar half-year - Dynamic absences that last longer than a calendar half-year extend the analysis period. A new quota is not granted until they have ended.
- F: Fixed value in a certain period before entry of the current absence. (In this context, reference is made to the corresponding fields in this table.)
- B: Start of work relationship
- Y: First illness (incl. linking of absences) - A check is performed to determine whether the current absence concerns a recent first illness. Linked absences are regarded as one related absence.
