Documentation
Definition
Describes the activation status of the treatment pathway
Value range
The technical status can be Unchecked, Checked, Active or Inactive.
Use
The technical status determines whether a treatment pathway can be assigned to a patient or not. In the productive system, only pathways in Active status can be assigned; in the test system pathways in Checked or Inactive status can also be assigned.
Pathways in Unchecked status cannot be assigned.
If there are several versions of a pathway, only one version can have Active status.
Dependencies
Example
In a productive system version 3 of the "shoulder dislocation" treatment pathway is assigned to a patient.
One day later the new version 4 of this treatment pathway is transported from the test system to the productive system and activated. This changes the status of version 3 to Inactive.
This has no effect on the pathway which has already been assigned. It can be processed as normal in version 3.
However, if the "shoulder dislocation" treatment pathway is assigned to another patient, he will receive the new version 4.
