Documentation
Definition
Specifies the administered quantity of an infusion, TPN solution, or dilution.
Use
The user can enter the administered quantity within the framework of event documentation for infusions, TPN solutions, and dilutions. The system will propose the sum of all hung infusion bags as the administered quantity. If you enter the administered quantity, the system will check this quantity against the sum of all hung infusion bags.
Dependencies
Example
The size of an infusion bag is 1000 ml. Four infusion bags are documented as being hung. The system will propose 4000 ml as the administered quantity. However, the user can change this value and enter a value greater than 3000 ml and less than or equal to 4000 ml, for example if the last bag was not administered completely.
