Indicator that this is an external order.
Use
This indicator can be set during order entry when an order for external medication should be created. External medication is when the patient takes the drug externally, for example, in another hospital. No events can be generated for this external order, however, external medication may be relevant for clinical interaction checks. These are only possible if a corresponding order exists.
