Definition

Note on clinical order and preregistration: The preregistration is a kind of clinical order. SAP Patient Management (IS-H) only uses Preregistration, whereas ISHMED also uses other kinds of clinical order. Therefore explanations for IS-H always concern the preregistration.

This indicator specifies whether the order type is a profile type:

• If this indicator is set, the order type is a profile type.
• If this indicator is not set, the order type is an elemental order type.

Use

Elemental order types are composed of components and design elements. You use them as templates for order items.

Profile types are composed of elemental order types.

Selecting a profile type creates n order items whose respective template is one of the elemental order types defined in the profile type.
