Note on clinical order and preregistration: The preregistration is a kind of clinical order. SAP Patient Management (IS-H) only uses Preregistration, whereas ISHMED also uses other kinds of clinical order. Therefore explanations for IS-H always concern the preregistration.

The Limited Number of Organizational Units indicator restricts the number of organizational units (OUs) for which you can preregister a patient with a specific preregisration type:

• If you set this indicator, you can preregister patients with this preregistration type only for the OUs that are specified under Preregistration for Org. Units in the preregistration type.
• If you do not set this indicator, you can preregister patients with this preregistration type also for all other OUs. In such cases, the OUs specified under Preregistration for Org. Units constitute a proposal list and not a restriction.
