Definition
Note on clinical order and preregistration: The preregistration is a kind of clinical order. SAP Patient Management (IS-H) only uses Preregistration, whereas ISHMED also uses other kinds of clinical order. Therefore explanations for IS-H always concern the preregistration.
This field relates to the indication of the case dependency of an order item.
Use
You use this indicator to decide which of the following options for order items, which were created on the basis of this order type, should apply:
- Caseless:
The system does not make default case settings for items of this type. Nevertheless, you can link this order item to a case.
- Case optional:
You can assign items with this type to a case. The system automatically makes default case settings in the order item.
- Case mandatory:
You must assign items with this type to a case. The system automatically makes default case settings in the order item.
