Definition

The content of this field depends on who initiated the clinical order:

• If an organizational unit within the hospital initiated the clinical order, this field contains the hospital employee who placed the order.
• If an external physician or an external hospital initiated the clinical order, this field contains the external physician or the external hospital who placed the order.

Note on clinical order and preregistration: The preregistration is a kind of clinical order. SAP Patient Management (IS-H) only uses Preregistration, whereas ISHMED also uses other kinds of clinical order. Therefore explanations for IS-H always concern the preregistration.
