Definition

In this field, you can enter a diagnosis for a clinical order.

To be able to enter more extensive diagnoses, use the long text editor. In such cases, you'll only see the start of the diagnosis followed by "..." on screen.

When you admit the patient, the system proposes this diagnosis as the referral diagnosis.

Note on clinical order and preregistration: The preregistration is a kind of clinical order. SAP Patient Management (IS-H) only uses Preregistration, whereas ISHMED also uses other kinds of clinical order. Therefore explanations for IS-H always concern the preregistration.
