Use

This is a non-numerical additional field for infotype 0002 Personal Data. You can use it in SAP Query and Ad Hoc Query as a selection and output field. If you use it as a selection field, you can enter values in full, generically (with *), or masked (with +).

Dependencies

Example

You want to run a report to determine which employees celebrate their birthdays in May. Therefore, you use the Day and Month of Date of Birth field as a selection field and enter the value ++05.

You want to run a report to determine which employees celebrate their birthdays in May or September. Therefore, you use the Day and Month of Date of Birth field as a selection field. Choose multiple selection, select the Single values tab page, and enter ++05 and ++09.
