Definition

The mode contains controlling attributes that are inherited to the container. The controlling attributes are, therefore, not specified by the agent when the container is created, but is defined in the Customizing settings for the mode.

Use

In the agency collections, you create the container in a mode. The controlling attributes are as follows:

• Container category:

  You assign the container that you created in a mode to a suitable container category.

• Printed receipt:

  If you have set the Printed Receipt indicator, the system creates a receipt for the customer when you close a collections transaction for container category Direct Collections. It creates a receipt for the third-party when you save the third-party payment method for the container category Third-Party Collections.
