Documentation
Definition
Specify the name of the feature with which you control how the
employee pay scale levels should be set up for other pay scales.
In the standard system you can use the DVETR feature.
These newly defined pay scales are used exclusively to evaluate rates
of pay using table T5D3M.
If you do not enter a name, the pay scales are not converted and
the existing pay scales are evaluated.
You need to use this feature, for example, when you use the same pay
scale indicators for hourly paid workers and salaried employees in the
pay scale table. To differentiate between hourly paid workers and
salaried employees in table T5D3M, enter a new pay scale indicator
for salaried employees using this feature.
You can then evaluate these newly-defined pay scales in table T5D3M
for salaried employees.
Example: Entry in table T510 has the same pay scale indicator for
salaried employees and hourly paid workers
Ctry grpg Pay Gr Type Area PS Ind Group Grade -------------------------------------------------------------------
01 40 01 2 L10 2,993.00
If you map the pay scale value '3' for salaried employees in the
feature, you can evaluate hourly paid workers and salaried employees
separately in table T5D3M:
payscale level
Ctry S Statistic Type Ar K Group St Start End Eval ----------------------------------------------------------------
01 1 02 Earnings 40 01 2 L10 01.01.1993 31.12.9999 02 HPd
01 1 02 Earnings 40 01 3 L10 01.01.1993 31.12.9999 04 Sal.
Another possible use of this feature is that you can map the pay scale
levels from table T510 specifically to a limited number of pay scales
that have an equal evaluation in table T5D3M in the respective
remuneration statistics. Through this, you reduce the maintenance
for the evaluation table T5D3M and have the additional possibility
of mapping generic pay scale levels.
