Definition

If the period schema of the application and the period schema of SAP Master Data Framework are not the same, this indicator determines whether the period specified is converted to the period schema used by the global, primary fiscal year variant whenever the system accesses time-dependent data.

• Indicator selected: No conversion of the periods from or to the primary fiscal year variant takes place. The data written to the database and read from the database according to the fiscal year variant of the application.
• Indicator not selected: The key fields FROMYEAR and FROMPERIOD are converted according to the primary fiscal year variant of the Master Data Framework, and written to the database. This is the norm.

Use

You can select the indicator only if:

• The given table key or key structure contains the fields FROMYEAR and FROMPERIOD.
• The data is purely local in nature.
