Definition

Position of field within current aggregational level

Use

The value in this field defines at which position of the current aggregational level the data has to be placed. For every aggregational level you may start the position from 1 again.

This position reflects an offset within the current level.

Example

In the ICESA format the transmitter record carries

  • on position 1 an 'A'
  • on position 2 there is the payment year,
  • ...
  • on position 15 there are eight blanks etc.

Examples

In the tax form RES_TAX_SANWA 'Residence Tax Payment by Sanwa Bank', the second record ('data record') that has to be written to the data medium contains information different for each tax office.
