Definition

The indicator enables message types to be categorized.

Use

In the standard system, you use the list indicator for the following purposes:

  • You can query it in the RPTERR00 report (Time Management: Error Handling). You can use the indicator for the Time Management pool to control which employees process which messages.
  • You can specify for the Clock-In/Out Corrections Employee Self-Service application which messages are displayed to employees.

Indicator "0"/BLANK:
The message is interpreted as a note.

Indicator "1":
The message is interpreted as an error for the administrator.

Indicator "2":
The message is aimed at the person responsible for IT. The administrator merely receives a note to the effect that an message of this type has occurred.

Indicator "3":
The messages is displayed as an error for the employee in the Clock-In/Out Corrections application.

Further notes

  • This function is not available for processing messages using the Time Manager's Workplace.
  • In the selection screen for the RPTERR00 report, you can select more than one list indicator.
