Definition

This string serves to set the validity of rules. You can define a rule for days which are followed by a public holiday, and for days which are not followed by a public holiday (entry B).

Use

If all conditions set in the admissibility string are fulfilled, the rule with the lowest sequential number is taken. It determines the result of the rule application.

Procedure

You can use the string to specify which public holiday class must be assigned to the subsequent day for a rule to apply.

Flag the appropriate public holiday class with an X. The individual positions in the 10-character field have the following meaning.

Position    Holiday class

1    Blank

2    1

3    2

4    3

5    4

6    5

7    6

8    7

9    8

10    9

Examples

  1. A rule is only to apply to days which are not followed by a public holiday. Enter a X at position 1. Leave the other entries blank.
  2. A rule is to apply only to days followed by a public holiday which has a public holiday class other than 2. Enter an X under each entry, with the exception of positions 1 and 3: leave positions 1 and 3 blank.
