Definition

Specifies for each type of leave the length of time in which leave requests can be submitted retroactively.

Use

The period you enter here relates to the end date of the leave.

You indicate the period as follows:

• Before the start date of leave: Minus sign (-) before or after the number
• Start date of leave: BLANK or 0
• After the start date of leave: No plus/minus sign
• No deadline: Highest possible negative number (for example 99- (years))

Dependencies

Example

You specify that employees must submit requests for vacation two weeks after the end of the vacation at the latest. You therefore enter "2" (weeks) in this field.

On April 5, an employee requests leave that ended on March 15. The system does not accept the request. The employee has to submit the request by March 30 at the latest.
