Documentation
Definition
Determines the child's country of residence for calculating child allowance.
Use
A blank entry field means that the country of residence is Germany.
The standard system checks whether the domestic or foreign child allowance is to be calculated for the specified country of residence. For children who live in an EU country, Austria, or Switzerland, the normal child allowance rates for Germany are valid. These rates are lower for all other countries (Foreign child allowance).
Dependencies
The relationship between the country and the applicable child allowance amounts are controlled in the system using the Feature KGLND.
