Procedure from 01.01.1996

Child allowance is paid for all children who have not yet reached 18
years of age. In addition, the person entitled to receive
child allowance can only receive it upon presentation of the correct
verification.

If the child is still younger than 18, a basis is automatically
suggested. This is controlled using feature KG118.

If another basis exists, this can be selected. The authorization bases are stored in table T577 under country modifier 01 family characteristic 7. Choose possible entries with the function key F4.

Procedure until 31.12.1995

Child allowance was paid for all children younger than 16.

Use

Reasons for payment/non-payment of child allowance.

is suggested.
