Documentation
Definition
Number of child allowances.
Use
The number of child allowances is defined under sec. 32 of German income tax law (EStG). It is stated on the employee's tax card. Both full and half child allowances are possible (for example, 1.5).
Supplementary Documentation - KDFBT 0049
Use
Alternative number of tax exemptions for children.
The benefit group, in cases of reduced working hours or seasonal reduced hours, is determined using the number of tax exemptions for children. If a different number of tax exemptions for children is used to calculate the reduced hours compensation or seasonal reduced hours compensation than that used to calculate tax, you must enter the alternative number here.
If the alternative number of tax exemptions for children is zero, enter 0,1 as the tax exemption for children.
