Definition

This indicator defines how the currency translation contribution is to be determined.

Use

Customer transaction with cash flow

If the user selected the option of distributing the NPV margin to periods, the currency transformation contribution is also distributed to periods. In addition, the user can also decide whether the currency translation contribution:

• is to be calculated anew for every period based on the base volume in each period,
• is to be transferred,
• is to be calculated using a user exit.

Customer transactions without cashflows (costing using average positions)

The user can perform the following:

• Calculate the currency translation contribution for the period, determining the opportunity contributions in local and transaction currencies together.
• Calculate the currency translation contribution for the period, determining the opportunity contributions in local and transaction currencies seperately.
• Transfer
• User exit
