Definition

You use this indicator to define whether, in individual simulation, the change in volume is to be simulated on a relative or absolute basis, or whether the change in volume is to be based on absolute new business.

Example

  • Relative to total volume: Transactions with a growth rate of 20% are simulated for an existing position of EUR10,000. The total position after simulation is EUR12,000.
  • Absolute total volume: An absolute position of EUR50,000 is to be simulated. If the value of existing transactions is EUR50,000, then no new transactions are simulated. If the value of existing transactions is less than EUR50,000, then the value of the position is brought up to EUR50,000 by the simulation.
  • Absolute new business: An absolute amount of new business of EUR50,000 is to be simulated. Regardless of the volume of transactions already in the position, EUR50,000 of new business is simulated.
