Definition

This indicator determines whether a flow is 'open' or 'closed' that is, whether the option or futures contract is newly concluded (open) or terminated due to being exercised or because it has expired (closed). The open/closed indicator controls the position management for such product categories. Only flows flagged 'closed' lead to a position decrease. Flows flagged 'open' lead to a position increase.
