Definition

This indicator determines how reserve requirement costs should be calculated and displayed. The indicator is only significant for on-balance sheet, liability transactions.

Use

The user has the following options:

• No calculation of reserve requirement costs.
• Determination of reserve requirement costs based on selected average balance.
• Correction of opportunity interest rate by (with) reserve requirement rate. In this case, reserve requirement costs can be determined seperately. It is up to the user to make sure that only useful combinations of information appear in reporting. For example, ensure that reserve requirement costs are not deducted from the opportunity contribution but rather displayed in a seperate information field.
• Calculation of reserve requirement costs without reducing NIM contribution.
• Calculation of reserver requirement costs with reduction of NIM contribution.
• Transfer of reserve requirement costs.
• Link to a user exit.
