Definition

For transactions with fixed cashflows, this indicator controls how periodic figures such as NIM contribution, interest contribution, and opportunity contribution are calculated.

• '0' - No periodization
• '1' - IS-B makes a fixed procedure available to periodize the NIM contribution. The system then calculated the NIM margin to be periodized using the cash flow. Periodization is then carried out based on effective capital, effective interest rate of the customer transaction, and the structurally congruent opportunity interest rate.
• '2' - Periodization using duration
  With this procedure, the opportunity interest rate is taken directly from the duration (from the assigned yield curve).
• '3' - Transfer of the interest and opportunity contributions
• '4' - Periodization based on average balance
  With this procedure, you can use several procedures to determine the opportunity interest rate.
• '9' - User exit
